Wipe them down, clean gently, then feed and buff — leather lasts for years if you keep it conditioned and dry.

The routine
- 1
Brush off loose dirt and dust
A soft brush or dry cloth is enough.
- 2
Clean with a barely-damp cloth
For grime, use a dedicated leather cleaner (saddle soap only sparingly — it can dry leather out), then wipe clean.
- 3
Dry naturally with shoe trees or paper inside
Away from radiators and sun, so the leather keeps its shape.
- 4
Condition, then polish
Conditioner puts moisture back; buff for shine.
